This is the official website of the Louth Wargaming Association, aka the Dogs of War. We meet on Saturday evenings.

The L.W.A. is one of Lincolnshire’s largest wargaming clubs. We do Warhammer fantasy battle™, Warhammer 40k™, Lord of the Rings™ Magic the Gathering™ and other games.

New Venue

The club will be reopening on Saturday 4th November at Park Lane Youth Centre in Louth. Times are 5 till 9pm.

Urgent on the 28th july the club will be closed due to bad weather the week before. sorry for the short notice but only found out about this on the 26th.

What is wargaming?

Wargaming involves table top strategy games using 28mm miniature models and terrain pieces. During club meetings we paint models and build terrain as well as engaging in table top battles and campaigns, and role-play games that follow various storylines.

Warhammer fantasy battle involves a host of different races from the graceful elves to the hordes of chaos on a turbulent world. And in Warhammer 40k the players range from genetically engineered superhumans to homicidal bugs. Whatever your preferences are, all are welcome.
